Last time we talked about working for yourself and how it allows you to live your life on your terms, and not have to fit it in around your job. But being self-employed doesn’t mean you have to be restricted and confined to a certain location. True freedom & control can be achieved thanks to modern technology and new business opportunities that allow people to work anywhere.
So-called Laptop Entrepreneurs – people who run one or more businesses from their laptop, anywhere in the world and on the go, are springing up everywhere. Technology allows people to use laptops and other mobile devices, connect to the internet and, work from anywhere – even on holiday!
Now, of course, not every single job can operate like this, but there are many that can. Consulting & mentoring can be carried out over skype or over the phone with people anywhere in the world. Trading and other investments that don’t require much time are also perfect for this too. Sourcing real estate deals and selling them is another great opportunity. Due to things like the internet, you don’t need to go and physical view a property to be able to do this well.
Network Marketing is another great option where you build a network online and locally and grow a business worldwide from your computer teaching others about the products and business and they do the same. This makes it great for creating a residual income and the process can be automated allowing, network marketers to generate income and achieve freedom at the same time. Network Marketing has grown significantly in the last decade, a testament on the legitimacy and how viable a strategy it is that anybody can start doing today.
Network Marketing is not the only type of business that can be automated. If you were to set up a business (any business) and get it to a position where you only have to work 1 hour a week, you could do this from your laptop too! This will involve systemizing, training, and ensuring you have a solid & reliable team in place to run and automate your business. But it’s more than possible and works well for many Laptop Entrepreneurs.
Not only that, but advances in technology have led to the creation of other businesses such as Digital Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Virtual Personal Assistants, Blogging, eCommerce, Drop Shipping that can be carried out anywhere in the world.
This may all sound too good to be true, and it’s true many who have tried have failed. But that’s only because they rushed into things and didn’t plan. They didn’t seek out successful Laptop Entrepreneurs and learn from them. In doing so, you can start to formulate your very own plan to take back your life by working from everywhere in the world. You can’t expect it to hit overnight, but learning the best practices for a successful online business and a successful “YOU” is a must and patience, consistency and a HUGE “WHY” are key!

I highly recommend both of them.
